Accessibility
At Parliament Tattoo, we’re always working to make our studio as welcoming and accessible as possible. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we’d love to hear from you.
We're on the ground floor so the building is easy to access. There's a small 5cm step from the reception to the studio but we can move a ramp onto there if needed. The studio itself is spacious, with plenty of room around each station for wheelchair users or anyone needing extra space. If you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help, just let us know in advance or on arrival.
The narrowest point in the studio is the entrance to our bathroom area, which has a 74cm wide doorway. We have two gender-neutral toilets located in this space.
As a private, appointment-only studio, the flow of people coming through our doors is low, which helps keep things calm and manageable. The start of the week is usually our quietest time. We can set up privacy screens around your station if you’d like a more secluded environment.
Please note that bright lighting is essential for tattooing, so if you’re sensitive to light, we recommend bringing sunglasses or a cap.
We also have a small collection of fidget and stim toys available for use during your appointment, but feel free to bring along any personal comfort items that help you feel at ease.
If you have any questions or concerns please do get in touch.
